Attached is the 1st update on the new Rescue 13, this unit is expected to be in service this summer.
Singerly, North East, Charlestown and Rising Sun were alerted for the reported working structure fire at the Triton Marina Bar and Grill. Units enroute were advised that the Cecil County Sheriffs Office was on scene advising smoke showing. Chief 3 (Debold) arrived and establish the command requesting two additional tankers to the scene. Crews deployed and interior attack and ventilated the structure. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident.

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Saverio Pulice of the Auxiliary of the Singerly Fire Company. Mr Pulice was 92 years young and was very active with the auxiliary. We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts during this time of grief and sorrow. A brief history of his life and funeral services information is listed below.
Saverio "Friz" Pulice, Sr., 92, of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. Born in Middleton, WV on April 30, 1922, he was the son of the late Antonio and Raffaela Marchio Pulice.
A U.S. Army veteran of WW II, Mr. Pulice had been a physical therapist at Perry Point VA Hospital, Perryville, MD. He was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church, Singerly Fire Company Auxiliary, Elkton, and was a life member of the DAV. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and canning.
Survivors include his children, Belva Kaye Potts and husband, Gerald, Sr., Rising Sun, MD and Saverio "Butch" Pulice and wife, Deborah, Millsboro, DE; his loving companion, Betty Evans, Elkton, MD; brother, Anthony Pulice, Jr., WV, grandchildren, Gerald Potts, Jr. and wife, Sharon, Elkton, MD, Tony Potts and wife, Kathy, Port Orange, FL and Tim Pulice, Georgetown, DE and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pulice was preceded in death by his wife, Belva, and 19 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 E. Main Street, Elkton where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton.
