Prospective employees must submit a resume or Application for consideration and those qualified applicants who pass pre-employment testing will be placed on the eligibility list. Applicants must pass written ALS or BLS Maryland Protocol exam. Those applicants who successfully complete the written examination will attend a panel interview. Upon a conditional offer of employment, the applicant will undergo a comprehensive background and reference check and a complete fit for duty physical including a drug screening. Minimum Requirements are listed in job descriptions. Competitive pay, uniforms and PPE provided upon hire. Applications and resumes will be held until next testing/interview process, typical the end of the month. All part time staff will serve a minimum time frame as strictly EMS before progression to fire suppression duties.
When full time or permanent part time vacancies occur, preference is given to current part time staff that meet the minimum qualifications.
